Cracking eggs with two hands is very easy, but how do you do it with just one hand? Some chefs do this trick in their video recipes, and they make it look simple. If you are curious about how they do it, let BuzzFeed Multiplayer teach you how to perfectly crack an egg with one hand using two ping-pong balls and a coin.

If you are looking for a way to crack an egg without getting eggshells, try tapping the center of the egg on a flat surface instead of the lip of a bowl. Some say this works since it keeps the membrane intact, which prevents broken eggs and shells in the bowl. Try this next time you cook your breakfast egg!

To practice, you need:
The most vulnerable part of the egg is the center. Practice using two ping-pong balls and a coin. Hold one ball with your thumb, forefinger, and middle finger. Use your ring finger and pinky to support the other ball against your palm. Place the coin in between the two. See the photo below for reference.
Rotate your hand so the ball faces downward. Slowly separate the balls to release the coin. Practice this step several times.
After several practices, try it with an egg. Strike the center of an egg on the side of your bowl or pan. When you see the crack, do not panic. Separate the shell with the same smooth action you practice with the balls.
