Usually, we peel potato skin by using a peeler but not all of us can do that. A dear friend of mine recently talked to me about her mother’s problem with arthritis and that her hands are starting to tremble so bad that she can’t even peel potatoes properly. It may be a simple dilemma but it was a big deal for her mom, that’s when I thought of searching for other ways to do that task without her struggling to do it. Upon searching the internet, I found this video tutorial by Andrea Jean Cleaning on YouTube. I immediately showed it to my friend and in turn, she then taught it to her mom who was more than glad to apply this technique. Whether you just want to try out a new potato peeling method or you might know someone who experiences the same situation, you should check this video tutorial and help someone out.

Place your pot on a stove over medium to high heat, bring it to a boil, and while waiting for that to happen, start cutting your potatoes. Using a sharp knife, lightly cut right around the middle of each potato, but not too deep, all you need is a nice cut right at the skin. Place them on the pot of boiling water and let them boil until the skin is coming off by itself or until tender. Drain off the hot water and peel the potatoes with your hands.
