Orange is a very delicious fruit and is also one of my favorites, second to lemon. What I love about orange is its citrusy taste and how refreshing it is to eat. But most of all, I love how you can incorporate it in lots of different recipes, from sweet pastries to savory dishes!

Method #1

Gently cut a line in the middle of the orange horizontally, making sure to not cut all the way to the flesh, then use the end of the spoon’s handle to lift the peel, and gently rotate the orange as you scrape the inside until the peel and flesh are separated from each other. Make sure to not put too much pressure onto the orange to prevent it from bursting, then twist the two peels opposite from each other, and lift it off the flesh.

Method #2

Cut off the top and bottom of the orange, then insert the spoon between the pulp and orange as demonstrated in the video, and then do the same to the other side. Keep repeating the process until the flesh is completely separate from the peel, then cut a line along the middle of the orange vertically, and simply remove the peel from the flesh.

Method #3

Grab a clean pair of scissors, then cut off the top of the orange but not all the way, and then keep cutting at an angle as you rotate the orange. Continue cutting diagonally until you reach the other end of the orange or the peel is completely removed from the flesh. *Keep watching the video tutorial for more tips.
