#2 Stove Simmer

Another tip to keep your home smelling fresh is to find yourself a stove simmer that you love. An example that you can do at home is to put three sliced lemons in a pot together with two rosemary sprigs and a little dash of vanilla extract. Simmer this in the stove for as long as you like until the smell runs out.

#3 Dryer Sheets

Put a couple of dryer sheets in the bottom of your trash bin whenever you change your liner. You can also wipe down your couch with this and stick it down between the cushions.

#4 Scented Candles

Place these candles strategically throughout your home so you’re not just putting them in one area.

#5 Baking Soda

Sprinkle baking soda before vacuuming your carpet to deodorize it.

#6  Dog Blankets

Before washing your dog’s bed or blankets, go outside first and shake out the fur.

#7 Sink

Take that simmer pot and pour some of it down your garbage disposal, then sprinkle some baking soda and pour some vinegar as well. Scrub it nicely, then rinse the whole sink.
