Are your windshield wiper blades streaking, making noise, or just not doing their job? This trick from Silver Cymbal on Youtube will definitely help you. In just 30 seconds, your wiper blades will work just like new; and you only need two simple materials you have at home already. It’s super quick and easy and actually works! Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step-by-step process.

Materials:

  • old sock or rag
  • WD-40

Directions:

Step 1

First, check your windshield wiper blades for cracks or any sort of defects because if they’re damaged, this trick won’t work and you will have to replace your blades. Now, if your blades are looking good but streaking, making noise, or just not doing their job, this trick can really help you out. To start, grab an old sock or rag (you want it to have a little bit of texture) and a WD-40. Soak your rag with the WD-40, spray a generous amount because it’s gonna use up very quickly.

Step 2

Now, point your wipers up and start wiping the blades with the rag soaked with WD-40. WD-40 will remove all the dirt from the wiper blades that accumulated. When wiping, go back and forth, kinda like you’re brushing your teeth and keep going over it again and again.
