These stuffed cinnamon biscuits by Lillian C on YouTube shows how easy it is to use canned biscuits and 4 other ingredients for a sweet breakfast treat. This is a perfect size for the kids, and add icing on top of them for extra sweetness. If you’re a fan of cinnamon, this is a great recipe to make if you’re looking for something inexpensive and don’t require too much time in the kitchen. Also, I would make icing to go on the side to dip the cinnamon biscuits into if I’m not adding them on top. I think baking these stuffed cinnamon biscuits on a cast iron skillet will create nice crispiness on the outside. I love how they’re shaped like a ball and the warm cream cheese is the best part from these.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of biscuits (the regular size)
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ to ¾ cups of sugar
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, cut into 10 squares
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted.

Directions:

First, preheat the oven to 350F. Spray a round cake pan with cooking spray. Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a medium bowl and set aside. Take one biscuit and place a square of cream cheese on top. Top with another biscuit and crimp the edges closed thoroughly.

Next, dip each stuffed biscuit in the melted butter, and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Shake off any excess and place the biscuit in a prepared cake pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes.

Overall, this is a simple recipe, and the cream cheese in the stuffed cinnamon biscuits would create creamy goodness. I love how the golden cinnamon color turned out after baking because it’s perfectly coated. Canned biscuit recipes are one of my favorites because it’s hard to mess upon them. They always end up fluffy and soft.
