Summer cocktails are endless and Moscow mules are on my list to quenching my thirst. When I came across this strawberry basil Moscow mule recipe by The Toasted Pine Nut on YouTube, I thought about how juicy and tart this cocktail would taste. The lady in this video, Lindsay, says it tastes like a jolly rancher, and I love strawberry jolly ranchers. I like anything that is fruity, and fresh strawberries remind me of summer. Cocktails are so simple and easy to mix up and serve. Plus, there are not many ingredients required to make this drink. Moscow mules are super cute and I love the traditional mugs that are usually served in. This is great to make with your girlfriends by the pool or backyard barbeque.

Overall, this strawberry basil Moscow mule screams summer. It’s bright, vibrant, and chic. I haven’t made a Moscow mule in so long, because I stopped drinking vodka. Now, this recipe makes me want to branch back out since it looks very refreshing. I would love to recreate this drink in a big pitcher since it’s so easy to pour everything together in a big serving. I can imagine sipping on this cocktail outside in the back patio.
