I love pop biscuits in a can, and there are so many ways to prepare canned biscuits, other than just baking them in the oven in the traditional way. I recently found a stovetop biscuit video recipe tutorial made with canned biscuits by Simply Mama Cooks, on YouTube, and I just had to try it. These biscuits are cooked low and slow in a cast-iron skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter and a little bit of high-quality oil. They turn out with a butter-fried crunchy crust but are still flakey and soft in the center. The ingredients for this recipe are very few and very basic. The only thing that you must do o assure a great biscuit is to monitor and time them.
