Chocolate pie is one of my favorite types of pies. For some reason, I’m not a big fruit filling pie person. I just love chocolate so when I came across this pie brownie tutorial on YouTube by Epipastry I was in awe. They are so cute and miniature that’s bite-sized brownies in pie form. I love how they added chocolate chip pieces in this brownie. If it can get any chocolatey, I’m here for it. Also, I appreciate the person who made this tutorial, to include English subtitles on the screen. I’m sure I could follow along with the tutorial by watching the video, but it’s so helpful when the ingredients are shown step-by-step with the video. Overall, I can’t wait to make these pie fudge brownies.
First, in a large bowl, add all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and unsalted butter. After, add the eggs and mix until its dough-like. Then, use reusable cupcake or pie molds to put the dough in. I think the plastic/stainless steel material gets the pie crust to be nice and toasty.
Next, poke holes in the pie crust with a fork. Then, bake them in the oven for 325F for 10 minutes. In the meantime, make your brownie batter. Transfer them to the pie crust shells and add chocolate chips on top.
In conclusion, I love this pie brownie tutorial because it’s simple and everything that I wanted. They look so chewy and fudgy. Plus, they used dark chocolate which is my favorite kind of chocolate to use/eat.
