This peppermint mocha hot chocolate bombs by Kiwanna’s Kitchen on YouTube is a perfect holiday gift or stocking stuffer to make for coffee lovers. Peppermint mocha is one of my favorite seasonal hot chocolate drinks, and I think it would be fun to make these. I am so intrigued by this idea, and when the hot milk pours over the hot chocolate bomb, it just opens up. I don’t know why I’ve never heard of these before, but they are so inexpensive to make. These would be great to make a big batch and keep them in a jar to have any time throughout the holidays. The peppermint mocha hot chocolate bombs look so good, and the process of making them was explained really well in the tutorial. This is a must-try to add for mini holiday gifts.

  • milk chocolate almond bark

  • hot cocoa mix
  • silicone mold
  • instant nonfat dry milk powder
  • instant coffee

First, start off by melting the milk chocolate almond bark, and add the melted chocolate to the silicone molds. Spread the first layer all over the mold and then shake and smooth it out. Refrigerate for about 2-3 minutes, and repeat until the desired base layer.

Overall, I’ve never heard of hot chocolate bombs, and I think I might’ve missed out for the past few years. The blend of peppermint mocha and this recipe is super inexpensive and makes a lot. You’ll save so much money in the long run, and they are fun to see the bomb burst open with the mini marshmallows floating.
