Granite can be easily cleaned with soap and water, but about once a week you will want to give it a deep clean to maintain its gorgeous sheen. Granite cleaner can be expensive, so this homemade recipe for this once-a-week deep cleaner really made sense for me.

In this awesome video tutorial by Alicia Lynn, on YouTube, you will learn to make this easy cleaner in a couple of super-simple steps. All you need to make this awesome cleaner are two simple ingredients. In whatever container you use, just add a 50 by 50 mixture of water and rubbing alcohol. 

Then you will shake the mixture and spray it onto the countertop, and let it disinfect for a minute or so. Then you will just wipe it down with a tea towel, it is really that easy.
