There are people who are making tiny chocolate chip cookies into cereal, which is one of the newest food trends on TikTok. Personally, I don’t have a TikTok but it comes up on YouTube or my Instagram feed. Cookie Crisp cereal is already a thing but making homemade chocolate chip cookies puts on a different twist. My love for chocolate chip cookies is unreal, so this is a dream to make this. Emma’s Goodies takes us on a quick, and simple tutorial. It’s a fresh and easy way to recreate Cookie Crisp without requiring a lot of ingredients. Nothing beats warm cookies in my opinion! Miniature things are super cute and Insta-worthy.  Also, you can turn this into a dessert and try it out with vanilla ice cream instead. I have a big sweet tooth, so I’m already planning my other options.

Ingredients:

  •  160 gr Butter ( 1 1/3 sticks + 1 tbsp )
  • 100 gr White Sugar ( 1/2 cup)
  • 100 gr Brown Sugar (1/2 cup)
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Milk ( YOU MAY NOT NEED IT, Check video )
  • 300 grams All Purpose Flour ( 2 cups )
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • chocolate chips

Directions:

First, follow step-by-step with Emma’s Goodies YouTube video on how to make mini chocolate chip cookie cereal. Grab all of the ingredients and mix them together.

Next, when the cookie dough batter is finished, you want to pipe these on a cookie tray so they come out evenly in size.

One thing to note: be careful about how much milk you add because you don’t want the cookies to get soggier as if it were to be regular cereal.
