I have plenty of flowers in my garden, but I felt like something was missing. I realized that I don’t get plenty of birds during the day, and that’s when I decided to add moving water to my yard to entice them. Luckily, I saw this tutorial by DIY Stories. It’s way cheaper than the ones in the store! Keep reading if you want to learn how to make a fountain using clay saucers.
Using a driller, make a large hole in the center of the 14-inch and 10-inch clay saucers. Make sure that all of the holes are big enough so the water hose pipe can pass through. Do the same for the 6-inch flower pots.

Connect the flexible water pipe to the pump. Secure it in place using tape. You want it to be tightly secured, so there will be no leaks.
Get the biggest clay saucer and place it right side up. Put the water pump with the pipe in the center. Get one of the flower pots and insert the pipe through the hole. The bottom part of the pot should be on top when you place it on the clay sauce. This will cover the pump.
Next, add the 14-inch clay saucer, right side up, followed by another flower pot. Lastly, add the 10-inch clay saucer on top.
If the water pipe or hose is too long cut it with a cutter. Make sure to leave some allowance. Connect the fountain tip to the hose, then secure it with tape. It should stand upright. Seal the hole on the top clay saucer with silicone paste. Let it dry completely.
Once fully dried, fill each saucer with water, then turn on the pump.
