I went searching online for an idea that could help all of us individuals who desperately wanted to have some drawer space, but didn’t want to throw out our prize trinkets. I found this very unique DIY junk drawer wind chimes idea by Hope Smitherman, on YouTube, and I knew I had to make these.

Materials For The Junk Drawer Wind Chimes:

  • Tin cans (regular vegetable cans or tuna cans work)
  • An ice pick (to punch a hole in the top of your can)
  • Old junk (anything from old jewelry, bottle caps, chains, baking utensils, cutlery, toys, whatever you have will work)
  • 2 pairs of needle nose pliers
  • a bunch of jump rings
  • Some bendable wire
