I went searching online for an idea that could help all of us individuals who desperately wanted to have some drawer space, but didn’t want to throw out our prize trinkets. I found this very unique DIY junk drawer wind chimes idea by Hope Smitherman, on YouTube, and I knew I had to make these.

Materials For The Junk Drawer Wind Chimes:

• Tin cans (regular vegetable cans or tuna cans work)
• An ice pick (to punch a hole in the top of your can)
• Old junk (anything from old jewelry, bottle caps, chains, baking utensils, cutlery, toys, whatever you have will work)
• 2 pairs of needle nose pliers
• a bunch of jump rings
• Some bendable wire

Directions:

In this very unique DIY junk drawer wind chimes idea by Hope Smitherman, on YouTube, you will learn to make charming and unique wind chimes from what is in your junk drawer. You start by putting holes in the can using an ice pick.

Then, you can let your imagination go wild by hanging whatever you want on your gorgeous wind chime.
