I know many of us love to eat bacon but cooking them the old-fashioned way is inefficient. So if you are tired of frying them in the pan or microwaving them in the oven, as both methods are messy and leave grease splatters, try to air fry them instead! It’s healthier, easier, doesn’t smoke, and doesn’t leave a lingering smell in your kitchen. This amazing tip is by Cooking with Coit on Youtube. You no longer need to flip the bacon and need towels for the oil residue. In just less than 10 minutes. you have the perfectly cooked bacon just how you like it.

Instructions:

Step 1:

Drop the bacon strips into your basket. Do not overcrowd them too much and make sure they are in one single layer.

Step 2:

Place inside your air fryer. Turn your air fryer. Setting your air fryer to 400 degrees F for 9 minutes will give you the extra crispy bacon. If you want it to be just the regular crispiness or medium-cooked, cook it for 6 minutes at 400 degrees. Set the temperature based on your preference, but for this recipe, we will just go with the regular bacon strips.

Step 3:

After half of the cooking time, check if the bacon strips are cooking well. Then place it back in the air fryer. Remember that air fryers are not the same. Some air fryers will give you the same results as this, but some may need more or less time. Better check them and adjust the time if they look almost done after 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 4:

If you and your family have different preferences, you can just remove a few after 6 minutes, then let the others continue to cook for another 3 minutes. Make sure to remove the grease after every batch, as it will produce a lot of smoke.
