This cranberry jelly looks so delicious! When I found this video recipe tutorial by Chili Pepper Madness on YouTube, I knew I had to make it as soon as I could get all the ingredients together. I have had regular jalapeno jelly many times in the Texas Hill Country, but I had never had cranberry jalapeno jelly and it sounds amazing. I plan on making some jelly to store so I can give them as Christmas gifts. I think the cranberry flavor will be great for Christmas, but also will taste excellent and refreshing in the summertime.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ripe cranberries
  • 2 cups jalapeno peppers (chopped, about 6 to 8 average size jalapenos)
  • 2 cups of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 6 cups of sugar
  • 4 to 6 ounces of liquid pectin (2 pouches)

Directions:

In this video recipe tutorial by Chili Pepper Madness on YouTube, you will learn to make cranberry jalapeno jelly in a few easy steps. You will start by cooking your fresh ripe cranberries and fresh jalapenos in vinegar.

When your cranberries and jalapenos have steeped and softened you will strain them to remove all the skins and seeds. Then you will add the 2 packets of fruit pectin to the liquid and the jelly will begin to form. Then just pour this delicious mixture into the jars and store them in the pantry. It’s really that easy!
