Jello shots are always fun and easy to make, but this candy corn jello shot recipe by Allrecipes on YouTube is so creative. I think it would be a great way to make a traditional seasonal candy into a boozy form. Serve it with candy corn on the side for extra candy corn flavors. The classic colors for this candy corn jello shot will add a cute table decoration too. I’m interested in how this candy corn jello shot taste and how the sweetness from the condensed milk would taste with the fruity gelatin. This would be a good treat to make if you hate to take straight up shots because the gelatin could eliminate the thought of pure liquor.

Ingredients:

  • 1½ cups boiling water, divided
  • 1 (3oz) package lemon-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)
  • 2 cups vodka, divided
  • ice cubes
  • 1 (3oz) package orange flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • 1 (.25 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1 (14oz) can sweeten condensed milk
  • ½ cup light rum

Directions:

First, pour 3/4 cup boiling water into a small bowl and add the gelatin mix and stir until dissolved. Pour 1 cup of vodka with ice into the mixture and stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Fill up the clear shot glasses with the yellow base and continue to make the orange and cream colors. Refrigerate for at least 90 minutes for the gelatin to set before filling up with another layer of color.
