This boiled peanuts recipe in an instant pot by Guru Recipes on YouTube simple, straight to the point that’s very short. Boiled peanuts are such a southern snack, and it’s so common to eat. However, I dislike boiled peanuts, but I am not used to eating them either. My parents and family love boiled peanuts, so this is an easy recipe to share with my family and friends. I want to give boiled peanuts another try, especially adding the Cajun seasoning I think would give a lot of flavors. There are many ways to cook peanuts such as having them more soft and chewy or firm and crunchy. Also, the longer the peanuts are boiled into the seasoning and salt, the saltier it will become.
First, wash and soak raw peanuts for 10 minutes. Add the peanuts to the instant pot, and add water to cover them. Sprinkle the salt over the peanuts and Cajun seasoning.
Next, mix everything together, and close the lid. Set manual (pressure) for 30 minutes on HIGH pressure, but if you want softer peanuts, add 15 more minutes. Serve these hot or cold.
Overall, this is such an easy boiled peanuts recipe that is a dump and go in an instant pot. This is one of the easiest recipes to follow along with and the instant pot does all of the work. Plus, boiled peanuts are a staple in the south, and a lot of restaurants such as Texas Roadhouse and Logans serve a bucket of peanuts as a free appetizer to start off with before your meal comes. If you haven’t had boiled peanuts before, I would advise you to give it a try. I know I would like to try them again.
