This apple cinnamon pancake recipe by Know Your Produce on YouTube gives all of the fall cozy feels of Fall. There are so many recipes that include apples and cinnamon. I love how this recipe is made from scratch and with fresh ingredients. There are many toppings to put on this pancake such as ice cream or whipped cream. Making pancakes are so easy and affordable to add all of the fall seasonal flavors. Plus it’s a great meal to start off the morning. I would love to try this recipe even though I’m not a big fan of cooked fruits. I would probably try to puree the apples and mix them into the pancake mix.

Ingredients:

Apple Cinnamon Pancakes:

  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 cup milk minus 1 tablespoon
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Apple Cinnamon Topping:

  • 1 granny smith apple
  • 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

Directions:

First, place flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder in a large bowl. Pour the buttermilk mixture and the rest of the ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
