I recently went over to my old best friend’s house and she had one of the most amazing fountains I have ever seen on her porch. When I asked her where on Earth she got it and she said, to my complete amazement, that she had made it herself! I was completely dumbfounded, I said, you mean you are a fountain maker? She laughed and laughed, no far from it she said, then she pulled out her phone and showed me a Youtube video where she found this amazing idea. I couldn’t wait to get home and try this out. I started getting my materials together as soon as I pulled into my garage. The materials were all really straightforward and with a little digging and reorganizing of my old storage space in the garage I easily found everything I needed for this cool plastic bottle water fountain project.

Materials:

• 4 square-shaped water bottles (Fiji work well)
• 1 terracotta plant tray (for the bottom)
• 2 pieces of wood
• A hot glue gun
• glue sticks
• 1 small water pump
• plants (for decoration)

Directions:

In the video, you will learn how to construct this awesome fountain with recycled materials you already may have lying around the garage or garden shed.

Then you will also learn how to decorate your fountain with beautiful plants and organize the water flow using your small pump.

I could sit for hours watching this relaxing fountain make its lovely trickling sound. Thank’s to my trusty hot glue gun, this project was an absolute breeze.
