Soak up the oil by using baking soda or salt. Simply get a generous amount of baking soda or salt and sprinkle on the area to cover the grease stain.
If it has a lot of grease, you want to let it sit overnight.
The next day, remove the baking soda or salt. Then pre-treat with dish soap. Simply add dish soap to the stained area and use a brush to rub it in. Run it under water to remove dish soap and let it dry.
If it has set in grease, take a paper towel and fold it into a small piece. Put a bit of dish soap and dab it into the stained area. Put only a little because dish soap should not go in the washing machine. Dish soap is great for breaking down oil and grease.
Let it sit for a few minutes then place it in the laundry machine. Wash as you normally would.
