It’s either you have a pet that has fleas, or they get stuck on your pant leg while you are in your yard. You can treat your pet using a topical flea treatment or a flea spray to prevent them from spreading.
Treat your yard with a granular or liquid insecticide. Typically, you need to apply them every 90 to 120 days.
For treating your indoor space, use Novacide. It is a flea spray for broadcast indoor use, which can treat 2,600 square feet.
Wear a mask and gloves before applying. To use this spray, hold the can upside down and spray 24-36″ above the flooring surface. Treat 100 square feet in 10 seconds. Be sure to coat everything – the flooring surfaces, hardwood, carpet, and tile. Stay in the treated area until it dries. Your spray pattern should overlap about 10 to 15 percent. Leave your house until you know that the product is completely dry.
It is important to vacuum all flooring surfaces every other day, or every day if possible, and get rid of the bag or rinse out the canister.
