Tired of having to fix your bed sheets every night, or simply don’t like that it’s loose? Let Skillfully yours Maris teach you how to fix loose fitted bed sheets.
Not having the right bed sheet size for your mattress, often leads to your sheets coming off. It’s probably too small that it doesn’t have a good grip on the corners or too big that it struggles to get a firm enough grip. Before buying bed sheets, make sure to measure your mattress first to avoid this from happening.

In some cases, the elastic of the bed sheets becomes loose after several uses. When this happens, you can try this simple trick. Get an elastic and sew it on the four corners of the bed sheet. It will keep your bed sheet in place, and you’ll no longer have to fix it every morning.
Here’s another trick you might want to try: How to Fold a Bed Sheet in 12 Seconds
Cut 12″ from your elastic.
Stretch the corner of your bed sheet. Measure 12″ on the long side starting from the corner and mark. Do the same on the short side.
Place the elastic on the marks. It should be placed diagonally just like in the photo below.
Sew the elastic on the underside of the bed sheet exactly on the marks. Make sure to sew it on an angle. Double stitch to keep it in place.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 to all of the corners.
Place it on your bed. If it is still loose, you have to tighten the elastic more.
