Materials:

  • Raw rice, Indian, white, brown, or any rice will work
  • Pyrex dish or bowl with an airtight lid
  • Cellphone

Directions:

Step 1

First off, make sure that your cellphone’s power is off, then remove the case as well, and set the case aside. In a glass dish or container or a pyrex bowl, pour the rice all over the bottom, then place the phone on top, and add more rice on top until completely submerged and covered.

Step 2

Put the lid on the container making sure that it’s completely sealed, then let it sit overnight or at least 24 to 48 hours until all of the moisture has been absorbed. Once done, remove the lid, then charge the phone for about 15 to 20 minutes, and then test if your phone is working.
