How To Clean Couch and Carpet With A Pot Lid

Cleaning couches and carpets are always tiring; that is why I always look for ways to make it easier. While browsing Youtube the other day, I found this super solution from simple & fast. This cleaning trick only needs a pot lid, a microfiber towel, and some cleaning solution in your home. It’s super easy and requires minimal cleaning effort. Materials:
- pot lid
- microfiber cloth
- 1/2 liter of warm water
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp dish soap
- rubber band
Directions:
Step 1
In a container, add half of a liter of warm water followed by 1 tbsp of baking soda and 1 tbsp of dishwashing soap. Mix well until combined. Soak a microfiber towel and wring it out, leaving the towel a little damp. Lay out the damp towel, place the lid on top, and wrap it with the towel. Secure with a rubber band.

Step 2
Now, proceed to clean the couch with this homemade cleaning trick with a pot lid. Scrub hard in places where there’s a lot of dirt. When cleaning the carpet, just wet the towel again and proceed to scrub the carpet with it.
