Sometimes even after cleaning the whole house we still forget to cover and check small details or areas that we think don’t need cleaning but actually do. These small details or areas also happen to be the most important ones, it could be the spaces in between your vent, the corners that you can’t reach, or in this case, the light bulbs that you are using for your lampshade or anywhere else. If you look closely at your light bulb you’ll see that they can also attract a lot of dust which can be a breeding ground for bacteria. But, you don’t need to worry because this video tutorial by Andrea Jean Cleaning on YouTube does not only teach you how to clean a light bulb but also how to make your house smell good using it.
First, make sure to unplug your lampshade before removing the light bulb, then grab a microfiber cloth or any clean cloth, and dry wipe the dust that’s surrounding the light bulb until nice and clean. Next, get a small plastic container or cup, then pour some fabric conditioner or pure vanilla extract, and dip the light bulb’s glass material until well-saturated and coated with the solution.

Step 2
Leave it to dry for a few minutes or up to overnight to let the solution cling to the light bulb stronger, then install it back into your lamp shade, and light it up. Not only does this prevent your light bulb from catching dust faster, but it also makes your house smell incredibly good, especially with the help of the light bulb’s heat.
