Outdoor grilling is so much fun in the summertime, but the grill surfaces can get pretty grungy with chared-on food substances. When I found this video tutorial by Helpful DIY, on YouTube, I was pretty excited to try it. When you see how easy and effective this method of cleaning a grill with caked-on, burnt-on chard food, you are going to so amazed and probably won’t use anything but foil from now on. I like to use heavy-duty foil because it really holds up well and is made of US steel. This is a wonderful way to clean, and it is super easy. After you try this aluminum foil method, you won’t use anything else.
All you have to do to begin this project is to tear off a piece of aluminum foil about 1-foot by 1-foot, and crumple the foil into a ball.
Then you will just rake the foil back and forth over the grill slats, and the baked on chard crust will fall away magically.
