- Lemon
- Lemon juice
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Detergent
- Hot water
How to Whiten Laundry with Lemon:
Step 1
In a jar or container, add half a (½) cup of lemon juice and one and a half (1½) cups of hydrogen peroxide, then mix them until fully combined. Add your detergent to the machine, then pour in half a cup of the lemon mixture over the laundry, and wash them as usual.

For tougher stains, pre-soak the whites first before washing. In a basin, pour in the hot water, then add the juice of 1 lemon, and submerge the whites. Let them soak for at least 1 hour or overnight, then wash as usual or with a lemon solution. Make sure to only use this method with white because colored ones will fade.
