Instead of serving the usual fried chicken on the table, why don’t try spicing it up? And by spicing it up, I mean making a hot and spicy version! This is not your usual hot wings recipe because it has the hint of sweetness and flavor of honey to balance the spice. Try this yummy recipe by Mesha’s Corner on YouTube now.
Honey jalapeño sauce
Step 1
In a large container season the chicken wings with chopped jalapeño, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, hot pepper sauce, black pepper, and paprika, then mix them all together until nice and combined. Cover the container and let the chicken wings marinate for a few hours up to overnight. In a separate large container, whisk together the eggs and hot sauce until well combined, then add the marinated chicken wings, cover the container and give it a nice shake to coat each piece of chicken, and set it aside. Let the chicken wings sit in the egg mixture for a few minutes while preparing the flour mixture.

Step 2
In a separate large container, add the flour, cornstarch, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper, then mix them all together until uniform, and add the egg-coated chicken wings. Cover the container and give it a nice shake to coat each piece of chicken, then let it sit for a few minutes. Let the oil heat up on a skillet over 375°F temperature, then shake off the excess flour from each piece of chicken before dropping them in the hot oil. Fry them in batches to not overcrowd the pan and let them cook until nice and cooked through. Now, while the chicken wings are frying, melt about a tablespoon of butter, and fry some sliced jalapeños in them, then add some honey (this step is optional). Garnish and drizzle this on the fried chicken wings, then serve and enjoy!
