Got some popsicle sticks laying around from a kids craft project? Believe it or not, you can take some popsicle sticks and some hot glue and make hexagon shelves!

Hexagon shelves, or “honeycomb shelves” have become super popular in recent years. I seem to always see a few of these babies all over layouts in home magazines or in furniture stores. They’re modern, useful, and a super cute decoration.

These shelves are super easy to make. All you need to do is glue six popsicle sticks together in a hexagon shape like this crafter shows, then make more hexagons and glue them together until you reach the shelf depth desired. She uses 18 layers to get her desired depth.

Then, she makes 2 more shelves using the first one as a template and glues them together to make a stylish and cheap set!

If you want to learn how to make these easy shelves, check out the tutorial below. Once you’re done, be sure not to put anything too heavy on them!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
