Ingredients:
- 2 pork (500g or 1 pound each) tenderloin or pork fillet
- 1½ tbsp of olive oil or butter
- 3 cloves of garlic cloves, very finely chopped
Pork tenderloin rub
- ½ tsp of garlic powder
- ½ tsp of paprika
- ½ tsp of salt
- ½ tsp of black pepper
Honey garlic sauce
- 3 tbsp of cider vinegar
- 1½ tbsp of soy sauce, light or all-purpose
- ½ cup of honey or maple syrup
Directions:
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C or 350°F, then in a mixing bowl, mix together the cider vinegar, light or all-purpose soy sauce, and honey or maple syrup until uniform. In a small mixing bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper, then sprinkle all over the pork, and rub it in. Place a large oven-safe skillet pan on a stove over high heat, heat up the oil or butter, then add the pork, and sear it on all sides until nice and golden. Once the pork is almost done searing, push it to the side, then add the garlic, and cook until golden and fragrant. Now, pour the sauce mixture in, then turn the pork over once, and transfer the pan to the preheated oven.

Step 2
Roast the pork for about 15 to 18 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 68°C or 155°F, then remove and transfer the pork to a plate leaving the sauce on the pan, and loosely cover the plate with foil, let it rest for about 5 minutes. Place the skillet pan with sauce back into the stove over medium-high heat, then let it simmer rapidly for about 3 minutes until the liquid has reduced into a thin syrup consistency. Turn off the heat, then put the pork back into the pan, and turn it until coated with the sauce. Cut the pork into thick slices, then serve with the sauce, and enjoy!
