Make your favorite Dairy Milk chocolate in 10 minutes with this recipe by Ish Kitchen. Homemade chocolates are so much better than store-bought ones, as you can control the ingredients and don’t have to use additives. Plus, it’s way cheaper! You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to make your own chocolate. We never bought at stores again ever since I learned this recipe. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa butter
  • 7 tablespoons of ghee
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar or icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder (Hereshey’s cocoa powder)
  • 1/2 cup  of milk powder
  • 3 drops of vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1:

Start by adding 4 tablespoons of cocoa butter and 7 tablespoons of ghee in a bowl. Stir until combined. Set it aside for later.

Step 2:

Place a  sifter in a large bowl. Sift 1 cup of icing sugar, 1/2 cup of milk powder, and 1/2 cup of cocoa powder to remove any lumps. Mix all dry ingredients until well combined.

Step 3:

Use a double boiler to make the chocolate. Place a heatproof bowl on top of a pot with boiling water. Add the butter and ghee mixture, then gradually add the dry mixture. Mix well using a spatula after every addition. It should have a thick consistency.

Step 4:

Add three drops of vanilla extract to the mixture and mix again until smooth.

Step 5:

Pour hot chocolate into the mold. Gently tap to spread it evenly and remove air bubbles.

Step 6:

Place in the refrigerator and refrigerate for four to six hours until set. Once set, remove from the mold and enjoy. If you are living in a warm place, keep it in a cooler to keep the chocolates from melting.
