Any salad will not be complete without a dressing. The dressing blends everything together, and without it, a salad can be bland. Do you love eating salads? If so, what is your favorite dressing? This dressing is the best! It is tasty, easy to make,  and goes well with any garden salad. Yes, there are already a ton of packed ready-made dressing you can buy from the stores, but making it from scratch at home is 100 times better since you are using fresh ingredients.

Making homemade dressing is easier than you can imagine. All you need to do is add the ingredients in a blender and blend it all together. Don’t have a blender on hand? Creamy Italian Dressing Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil (good quality)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (natural, high-quality)
  • 2 cloves of fresh garlic (finely minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons of honey
  • 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese (finely grated)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • few tablespoons of water

How to Make Creamy Italian Dressing

Step 1:

In a large mason jar, add all the dressing ingredients and cover with the lid. Shake until well combined.

Step 2:

Serve immediately over your garden salad. If you are going to serve it later, place in the fridge first. Just make sure to shake it well before pouring over your salad.

If the consistency is too thick, you can add water one teaspoon at a time until you achieve the desired consistency.
