I always have room for desserts, especially ice cream. I love making these cold treats at home, and I was so glad when I discovered this 5-ingredient homemade chocolate ice cream by Delmira Cooking on Youtube. It’s so creamy and milky! The chocolate with roasted peanuts coating added crunch, making this recipe even better. I can’t stop eating it and have already finished a few sticks. Try it, I am sure you’ll like it too.

In a pot, pour 1.9 cups of milk, 0.5 cups of powdered milk, and 2 tablespoons of sugar into a small pot. Turn on the heat of the stove and place the pot. Stir well.
Add 2 3/4 tablespoons of cornstarch and 8 teaspoons of milk in a small mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
Pour the cornstarch mixture into the small pot and stir well. Continuously mix until the consistency thickens using a whisk.
Once thick, remove it from heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Pour the mixture into the ice cream mold, then cover them with aluminum foil and place the popsicle sticks. Keep them inside the freezer for about 8 hours or overnight.
After 8 hours, cut the milk chocolate into small pieces then place it in a bowl. You can use a double boiler, boil water in a pot and place a bowl full of chocolate on top, or you can microwave them to melt the chocolate.
Pour the melted chocolate into a big cup or glass that can fit your ice cream stick. Get the popsicle sticks from the freezer and remove the foil on top. Soak them in warm water for 25 seconds while still in the mold, so you can easily remove them. Dip each one in the melted chocolate. You can also add roasted peanuts to the melted chocolate if desired. Enjoy!
