A lot of us have Hollywood light fixtures in at least one of our bathrooms and aren’t sure what we want to do with them, since they’re very 70’s and are a thing of the past.

At one point, Hollywood lights were a chic way to add glam to your bathroom. Today, however, they’re nothing short of sad and outdated. Luckily, we found a genius way to change up the ugly bathroom fixture.

Since we moved into our house, 4 years ago, we have had a large 8 bulb Hollywood light in our guest bathroom that has been a bit of an eyesore. I couldn’t decide on what type of light fixture I wanted to put in that bathroom, until I ran across this clever tutorial.

I fell in love with this idea since it was inexpensive, but mainly because I love anything that is black and white striped and it looks awesome with the way I’ve decorated the guest bathroom. It looks stunning!
