  • 1 1/2 sticks of margarine
  • 6 large eggs
  • 24 oz Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Ganache:

  • 1 stick of margarine
  • 2/3 cup of evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup of milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar

Directions:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Next, add 1 1/2 cups of sugar to the bowl of your stand mixer followed by 1 1/2 sticks of margarine. Mix until creamy, adding one egg at a time. Step 2

Once done, transfer the batter to a greased baking pan, then place it in the center of a preheated 350 degrees F oven. Bake it for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, reduce the temperature to 325 degrees F and continue to bake until a toothpick comes out clean. In the meantime, melt one stick of margarine in a small sauce pot, then add 2/3 cup of evaporated milk, 1/4 cup of milk chocolate chips, 1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar. Mix and melt everything together. Bring it to a gentle simmer, then put on the lid. Bring it to a rolling boil for three minutes.

Step 3

Once the cake is done baking, punch some holes into it, then pour the chocolate ganache all over the top. Spread it nicely and evenly, then cut into serving portions. Share and enjoy!
