We have three dogs at home, and we’ve been feeding them dog food for several years, but nowadays, it is getting more expensive. So, I had to look for alternative ways to lessen the cost but still give them the nutrients they need daily. The best recipe I have tried so far is this healthy homemade dog food recipe by Clean & Delicious on Youtube. Our dogs loved it so much! I can clearly see the difference. Now, they are more energetic and lively. You can also make your own recipes. But before you make one, be sure to research what ingredients dogs are not supposed to eat, like onions, garlic, kale, grapes, and raisins. There are a lot more so make sure you have an all-inclusive list. Read on or watch the video below for the full instructions.
Note: This recipe makes about 6 to 7 cups. You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week and in the freezer for about 3 months.

Place a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Add one tablespoon of coconut oil and one pound of ground turkey. Cook until browned and cooked through for about 10 minutes.
Turn the heat to medium and add shredded zucchini, finely chopped spinach, shredded carrots, and turmeric. Cook while stirring occasionally for about 5 to 7 minutes, until the veggies are tender.
Turn off the heat and add one egg. Let the residual heat cook the egg, then mix it around to make sure it is mixed through.
Add three cups of cooked rice and mix until well combined with the veggies. Let it cool before serving it to your dogs.
