This Hawaiian sweet rolls recipe by Savor Easy on YouTube is an easy and simple roll recipe to make for the holidays. They are my favorite type of rolls because they are soft and fluffy. It’s less dense than a regular roll, which I like because they are sweet yet savory. I could eat so many of these sweet Hawaiian rolls, and not feel too full, so it would be nice to make them at home. It was interesting to see that this recipe used pineapple juice, but I can see how it would create that sweet Hawaiian taste to the bread.
First, add the flour, brown sugar, instant yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl or standing mixer bowl. Then, add the egg, pineapple juice, and vanilla extract. Place in a stand mixer using a dough hook attachment.

Next, once the dough is finished, place it into an oiled bowl and form a ball. Cover, and let it rest until doubled in size. Flatten out the dough and divide it into 16 pieces. Form each individual into a ball and cover for 15 minutes. Continue to watch Savor Easy tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.
Overall, I love this recipe because this type of bread is good for dinner or used for sandwich bread. I’ve never made my own bread before, but I think it would be easy to make especially after this tutorial. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow along. The color and glaze on this sweet roll look so good.
