Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup garlic & herb breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Onion Gravy:

  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions:

Step 1

Add the ground beef to a large bowl, then add an egg, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp seasoned salt, 1 tsp onion powder, 2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp ground black pepper, 1/3 cup garlic & herb breadcrumbs, and 1/3 cup of milk. Mix everything until combined, then form the mixture into burger patties. Now, spray some cooking oil on a nonstick pan, then fry each patty, three minutes per side, over medium-high heat. Set the patties aside once done frying.

Step 2

Add the sliced onion and 1/2 stick of butter in the same pan and saute until browned. Stir in 1/3 cup all-purpose flour and mix around until the flour dissolved completely. After this, add 2 cups of beef broth, stir, and bring to a simmer. Adjust the taste at this point and season accordingly. Add the patties back into the pan and continue to simmer on low heat, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve over some steamed rice. Enjoy!
