This ham and cheese breakfast or brunch bake by Delish on YouTube is easy and simple to make that would make things easier in the morning. You can make this ahead of time at night, and bake it in the morning for your family and friends. You can use any type of protein, vegetables, or bread for this recipe. Breakfast is one of my favorite times to eat in a day, so finding new recipes is so helpful and keeps variety. First, preheat the oven to 350F. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, dijon, thyme, and garlic powder. Add other seasonings for taste such as salt and pepper.
Next, in a large buttered baking dish, add the chopped pieces of bread to the bottom. Top it off with ham and cheddar cheese. Then, pour over the egg mixture. Bake in the oven for 45-55 minutes.
You make this ham and cheese breakfast casserole ahead of time by covering the baking dish with aluminum foil and keep it in the refrigerator overnight. Garnish the breakfast casserole with thyme or a green herb. There are so many ways to go about this recipe, and takes less than 10 minutes to prepare.
