Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic or ginger paste
  • 1 large potato, cubed
  • 1 carrot, cubed
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 crushed beef cube
  • 1 cup water
  • oil

Directions:

Step 1

In a pan, heat some oil, then saute the chopped onions and garlic for about two to three minutes. After this, add the ground beef and continue to cook until browned and all the liquid is gone (about three to four minutes). Next, add the chopped potatoes and carrots, and 1/2 cup green peas. Cook for two to three minutes while stirring frequently.

Step 2

After this, add the chopped tomatoes along with 1 tbsp tomato paste. Mix well, then season with 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, and one crushed beef cube. Continue mixing until everything is well incorporated, then add 1 cup of water. Cover the pan with its lid and let it simmer for four to five minutes to let the veggies cook.
