While searching for a quick dinner recipe on Youtube, I stumbled upon this ground beef recipe from Cooking With Tammy. It looked so delicious that I tried it the same day, and I’m glad I did, as it’s so good! It’s seasoned well, and it’s also quick and easy to put together. Try this today and see for yourself.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb 80/20 chuck ground beef
  • 1 tsp veggie oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste (or minced garlic)
  • 1 green onion
  • 1/4 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 – 3 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro
  • adobo seasoning, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup frozen mixed veggies
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp bbq sauce

Directions:

Step 1

Add 1 tsp oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is heated through, add the sliced onions and garlic paste. Saute until fragrant, then add the chopped green onions and continue to saute for another minute. Next, add the ground beef, break it apart, and mix until well combined. Season with adobo seasoning to taste, ground black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and ground coriander.

Step 2

After everything is combined, add fresh parsley, fresh cilantro, frozen veggies, tomato sauce, and chopped green bell pepper. Mix everything well, then for added flavors, add 1 tbsp of barbecue sauce and 1/2 tsp of sugar. Stir in everything once again, then cover it with a lid. Simmer for five to ten minutes. After this, transfer it over steaming white rice.
