  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk

  • 1/2 tsp ground sage
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Next, once the biscuit dough is made, flatten and cut them out in a circle. Place the sausage cubes into the center of each dough piece and roll it into a ball. Brush the egg wash on each biscuit bomb and top it off with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes.
