If you love using Ziploc bags to store leftover food, ingredients, or snacks, then make sure to use them well so that no space or bag goes to waste. This genius technique by Andrea Jean Cleaning on YouTube will teach you how to use Ziploc bags the best way so that you can save space and money on buying this bag over and over again. What I love about this hack is that you can transform big plastic resealable bags into smaller sizes that would fit what you exactly need and it can space in storage because these bags can fit anywhere or you can stack them in a single container before putting them inside the fridge. Ever since I learned this technique, I never stopped using it, and I even shared it with my family and friends.

Materials:

  • Knife
  • Ziploc bag

Directions:

Step 1

Grab a large knife, then turn on the stove, and heat up the blade of your knife. Once the knife is nicely heated, lay your Ziploc bag down on a flat surface, then glide the blade down the bag, and cut in the size that you want. Leave it for a moment, then after a while, pull the bag apart, and open it up to test for any holes on the side.

Step 2

Once the bag is all good, fill the bag with any food or snacks that you want to store. You can easily clean the charred area on the blade of your knife with the pink stuff and your knife will be as clean as new.

Food for me is an art form, so I get my kicks from playing around with flavors and ingredients. And, if you can't find me in the kitchen, I'm probably lurking in a cozy café, sipping on some coffee while indulging in my favorite burnt Basque cheesecake with either a book or phone in hand, of course.
