Have you ever experienced pouring water from a glass, cup, or bowl to a different container and the liquid spills? I am sure every one of us has experienced it. The liquid sticks to the sides of the glass instead of going down directly to the container.
The reason liquid spills when pouring from a glass, mug, or bowl is due to the adhesion property of water. The water molecules also tend to stick to itself. Both of these properties cause the water to stick to the glass. If your container has a spout, it will not spill since there is less surface area to cling to.
Sometimes, when you pour fast enough, gravity can overpower adhesion and will not cause spilling, but if you are afraid to risk it, then try this genius pouring hack.

Hold the mug or glass with one hand and the chopsticks or spoon with the other hand. Place the chopsticks or spoon across the mouth of the mug, glass, or whatever you are using just like in the photo below.
Pour it fast while keeping the chopsticks or spoon in place. Do not remove it while you are pouring the liquid. The liquid should flow through the chopstick or spoon.
