The steps below are made even easier to follow, so give this trick a try to see if it’s also effective for you. Proceed down to read the instructions and watch the video tutorial as well for more proper visualization.
Step 1
Dump some baking soda into your garbage disposal sink, then let it sit for about 10 minutes, this will help deodorize, clean the sides, and loosen up the dirt. After 10 minutes, pour some distilled white vinegar down the drain and you’ll see it bubbling up, once the bubbling stops, turn on the water, and run the garbage disposal for a minute. You can use warm water in this step.

Step 2
After a few minutes, turn off the water and the garbage disposal, then place a stopper on the mouth of the sink, and pour a lot of ice cubes on the sink, break the large chunk that stuck together apart. Fill the sink with cold water but not all the way, then add some dish soap and pull the stopper out. Run the garbage disposal and open the water to help the ice cube go down easier, leave it on for a little bit after all the ice had gone down, then turn it off as well as the garbage disposal.
