To make your parfait, start by layering a small scoop of vanilla yogurt at the bottom of your glass. Then, add a layer of 1-2 tablespoons of granola. The yogurt and granola you use may contain added sugar, artificial flavorings, and preservatives, or may be healthier than others. So if you’re aiming to be healthy, choose a yogurt that contains fewer ingredients, especially less sugar.
As for choosing a healthy granola brand, it’s best for you to check its nutrition label. Just like when choosing a yogurt, the less sugar there is, the better. And, look for granola that’s whole grain, preferably the one that has add-ins like chia seeds, sunflower seeds, and the like, for added nutritional benefits.
