It’s very sad to not be able to go to Starbucks. but it’s not the end of the world. That’s why I was so happy to find this excellent recipe for a frothy coffee by J’dore on Youtube. The directions couldn’t have been easier as well. You just add instant coffee to a bowl with sugar and a little hot water and whisk until you make a thick gooey cream substance and serve it on top of warm or cool milk. I do love going to Starbucks and getting my favorite double mocha latte in the morning and seeing all the students studying and people conversing having their favorite beverages, but as I said, it’s really not the end of the world having to make coffee at home for a few weeks if it keeps our world a safer place.

How to Make Dalgona Coffee at Home

Ingredients:

  • 5 teaspoons instant coffee powder
  • 5 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons hot water
  • Milk

Directions:

First, you add five teaspoons of instant coffee into a mixing bowl, then add five teaspoons of sugar and four teaspoons of hot water, then whisk until you see the mixture turn into a creamy thick caramel looking substance that resembles Eagle Brand Condensed Milk.

Then you just add the lovely caramel looking substance to a glass of warm or cool milk and enjoy. You sir the ingredients together as you drink it, to get the full flavor of the mocha caramel sauce, it is so delicious and satisfying.
