This recipe is a fun twist on a traditional Fritos Pie or taco soup. It’s all the same delicious ingredients but layered between Fritos and shredded cheese. The family is sure to love this yummy casserole dish on any occasion. And it’s great for leftovers.
Check out Catherine’s Plates video down below for exact measurements of the ingredients.
Cook your onions and ground beef in a pan. Allow the ground beef to cook up till brown, then add taco seasoning to the pan. Mix the seasoning thill it’s evenly dispersed. You will want to drain grease out of the meat, using a paper towel to soak it up, or straining the meat.

In your casserole dish, add a layer of Fritos, then a layer of cheese. Finally, add the mixture of meat and vegetables on top and repeat the Fritos, cheese and mixture in layers to build the casserole up. Make sure the layers are even.
Cook the casserole in the oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, then enjoy. Top it off with some chives or green onions for a fancier look. The recipe is that simple!
