Ingredients:

  • 1 lb gold potatoes
  • 1 & 1/2 lb new york strip steak
  • 1 medium onion, finely sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided

Directions:

Step 1

To start, cut the potatoes into 4 equal sizes, then dump them in a pot with boiling water with salt and cook them for about 10 to 12 minutes. After partially cooking them, transfer them to a bowl and set them aside. Next, cut your new york strip in halves then chop it into eight equal chunks. Add the steak chunks to the potatoes, then add the finely sliced onion followed by minced garlic, Italian seasoning, freshly chopped parsley, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and some olive oil. Toss everything together to combine.

Step 2

Next, prepare your 12 x 12 foil and divide the steak and potato mixture among all four foil pieces. After this, place some pieces of butter onto each foil of the steak and potatoes. Now, fold the foil over the steak and potatoes into packets, then place them into a baking sheet. Place them in a preheated oven of 425 degrees F and bake them for exactly 20 minutes.
